Ok so as you know I row with Lake Union Crew, and we use the indoor rowing machines to work out on when it's really windy out. Well we also have contests occasionally and I was crazy enough to attempt the 200,000 meters (124 miles) in the month of December! Yes, c-r-a-z-y. And as you also know, I'm incredibly stubborn. We had a huge snowstorm the other day and public transit is even more crap than it normally is. Well I was all geared up to finish my 200,000 meters, I only had 16,000 to go and was on my way to the gym. Got all bundled up, waited for the bus in the freezing cold for 30 mins and then 10 mins into the ride, it got stuck going up the hill just past my house. Well I had enough of that, and was going to finish if it killed me, so I started walking! A few miles later my friend Shawna finally convinced me to stop and wait for her to pick me up. And you know what? I finished damn it! Only 6 other people in my club finish.
200,000 meters!!!
